Late Night Ruminations of an Imagined Therapy Session

Published by The Rumpus. This is a 10-page comic I made for the final project of a multimedia creative writing class I was in last semester. It's about how I imagined returning to my school's psychological counseling center would be like after the pandemic.

Oppenheimer Comic

This is a one-page comic I made based on the famous quote by J. Robert Oppenheimer after the creation of the nuclear bomb. This comic was made traditionally using ink pens, a grey watercolor marker, and a white gel pen.

It Came From 14M (Excerpt)

This is a 10-page excerpt from a 24-page comic I made. It started as a challenge to make 24 pages in 24 hours (which I was unable to do), but I later finished it. The comic is about the roommates I had in my sophomore year of college, and about us acting suspiciously and accusing each other of being the thing from the movie "The Thing". This comic is a bit rough overall and mostly consists of inside jokes within my friend group, but I liked how these pages came out.

Garfield Comic

This is a one-page Garfield comic that I made that gained a lot of popularity on Reddit. I posted it to the subreddit r/imsorryjon and the comic gained more than 20 thousand upvotes in 24 hours, as well as 138 comments.

Dada InDesign Booklet

This is an InDesign booklet that was made for my Graphic Design class. The prompt was to use the information/text from a Wikipedia page and turn it into a booklet that we could design in any way that we wanted. I chose the Wikipedia page for Dada, the art movement that was popular in the early 20th century. I also altered the coloring of all of the images in this booklet using Photoshop, so that they'd fit in well aesthetically with the color palette I had chosen.
