My Senior Capstone Project

For my capstone project, I conducted a study on the correlation between the superhero genre and low self-esteem/body dysmorphia in teenage males. I then created a 9-page comic using the research that I conducted and structured it like a research paper. While admittedly it isn't the most academic study, I believe utilizing a comic format for this study allowed for better visualization for the concepts I wanted to explain. Since I'm a New Media and Digital Design Major and a Psychology/Marketing minor, I felt that this project allowed me to combine a bit of all of my studies.

I'm excited to report that this project also received the FCLC Senior Thesis/Senior Capstone grant to fund the printing of this comic through Risograph printing.
